Community Activities

Mercedes Delgado

Are you looking for free or economical activities around our community? Here is a list of community activities to encourage learning through play, social interaction, and community involvement:

Did you know that Brevard County Public Libraries offers a variety of free youth activities. They offer story times for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, as well as a Tales to Tails program where children have the opportunity to read to therapy dogs. They offer Craft and Lego Building Workshops. They frequently invite community helpers, such as police officers and firefighters to read to children.

Attend a local Farmer’s Market. Most of these venues are pet and kid friendly. There is so much to see and talk about. Check out a list of Farmer’s Markets through the Fun4SpaceCoastKids Website at https://fun4spacecoastkids.com/Whats-Happening/Farmers-Markets/
